Privacy
A short, plain account of how this page treats anyone who visits it.
This is a family memorial site. It does not sell anything, does not run advertising, and has no interest in tracking anyone. It simply keeps a quiet count of visits, so the family can see that the page is still visited and that his causes are being found.
No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device. There is no pop-up to click away because there is nothing to consent to — the site keeps no persistent identifier for you.
What is recorded, in aggregate only: the pages viewed, the site or search you arrived from, your approximate country, the time spent on a page, and whether any of the outward links (for example to one of his charities) were followed. This is counting, not watching — the figures cannot be traced back to an individual.
Where it lives. The measurements are gathered by a small, privacy-first tool (Umami) running on the family’s own server. Nothing is shared with Google, with advertisers, or with any third party. Your IP address is used only momentarily to work out an approximate country, and is not stored.
If you would like anything about this page changed or removed, please write to the family at memories@hdhq.co.uk.
